JR is a french artist and a photographer, who describes himself as a "photograffeur" because of this large black and white flyposts he puts up in public locations.

I'm in love with the ones of the eyes, it makes me want to open my own and look more closely at the things around me because you never know what you're missing when you aren't paying attention.

Gregory Crewdson

Gregory Crewdson is an American photography. Best known for his staged American homes and neighborhoods.

I really like the one where he has a woman in kitchen like room, with flowers covering the entire floor. It makes me wonder what's going through her mind while she looks out in the distance. His work is very interesting and appealing to the eye in my opinion.

Ai Weiwei

Ai Weiwei is a contemporary artist from China.  He is active in sculpture, architecture, curating, film and photography. He is a political activist and most of is art work deals with the Chinese Government. He has also investigated in government corruptions and cover-ups.

Who Inspired Me

My Aunt Susan inspired me to get into photography and art in general. She loved photography and would travel around the United States taking pictures of the grand canyon, deserts, the rocky mountains, and so much more. She also showed me that no matter what life throws at you, continue what you love. She battled brain cancer for 5 years until her battle ended in 2005. During that time she never stopped doing what she loved most, photography. 

There is a website dedicated to her work, which shows some of the landscape photography that she has done and a book she cane out with called "In Love with Colorado".

About Me:

I may be that quiet kid in the back of the class in pretty much all of my classes.  Not because I'm shy (well maybe a little because I'm shy), but because usually my mind is somewhere else.  Once you really get to know me, you realize how weird, yet funny I actually am. I am a Leo, but I'm not super into horoscopes so that doesn't really matter to me..  I have an amazing girlfriend, yes I am gay and pretty proud of it! I grew up with three brothers, we fight all the time, but I can always count on them to be there when I need someone to talk to.

Art is my life, my passion.  I'm hoping that one day I'll move to Chicago and be a high school art teacher or work in advertisement, haven't really decided where my heart lies most.

A little more in depth about who I am, or more specific what my interests are.  Art may be my passion, but I am also into music.  I taught myself how to play the piano at a young age and have been playing ever since.  I am also a longboarder, yet I haven't got back on my board since the summer after a really bad fall I had (road rash is a bitch!).  Hopefully I'll overcome my fear of falling off my board again, maybe that will be a goal of mine.

I guess the last main thing you should know about me is that I am super geeky. Start a conversation with me about Superheroes or Star Wars and I promise you it will be a very interesting, yet long, conversation.
